After the successful pilot project last year, 35 pupils from class 4c and 4d took the Cambridge Young Learners English Examination in April this year and were awarded their certificates last Friday.
All 35 pupils were extremely successful and everyone gained the full point score in the speaking part of the exam.
We introduced the examination to further improve standards and give children the recognition they deserve for all the hard work they have put into learning English over the past four years. The examination is externally assessed covering speaking, reading, writing and listening skills.
We were all very pleased with the results.
